Disclaimer

The rules under which Markets to Freedom publishes everything on this site and across the daily show.

Not financial advice. Rukes and guests may hold positions in instruments discussed and may have other relevant interests. Guest views are their own and do not represent their employers. Views may have changed since publication. Do your own research.
In plain language

What this means in practice.

Nothing on this site is investment advice. The show, the newsletter and the articles are commentary, education and analysis. They are not personal recommendations and should not be treated as such. If you are choosing what to do with money, work with a regulated adviser who knows your circumstances.

The host may hold positions in the instruments discussed. Energy, equities, rates and adjacent markets. Where a specific instrument is discussed and a holding exists, we try to flag it on air. Where we miss it, the default assumption should be that a position is possible.

Guests speak for themselves. When a guest appears, their views are personal. They do not represent the views of their employer, their fund or any institution they sit on the board of. Anything they say should be read against that.

Content ages. Markets move. Views move with them. A piece written six months ago describes the world as it was six months ago. Use the publication date as a guide and treat older content accordingly.

Affiliate disclosure

When we earn a referral fee.

Some links on the site pay Markets to Freedom a small commission when used. Where a link earns a fee, it is marked with (affiliate) in the surrounding text. We do not recommend products solely because they pay. The bar is the same as for a sponsor read: would the host use it himself.
